The Jewish Cultural Centre and National Library "Kadimah" held its official 100th anniversary celebration on the 18th March, 2012 at its Leo Fink Hall in Elsternwick, Victoria, Australia. Following speeches by the "Kadimah" President, Vice-President and the reading of greetings sent from Buckingham Palace, the Queen and the Governor General of Australia, there were congratulatory addresses by the local Federal and State Parliamentarians, the local Mayor and the President of the Jewish Community Council of Victoria. The guests were then entertained by the "Klezmania" band and the "Zaftik" Yiddish theatre group. Here are some excerpts of this celebration.
